Quick Skin Tutorial

Mon Sep 8, 2008, 12:00 AM
You asked for it so here it is. A video on how to draw skin with Prismacolor pencils.

Well, not so much a tutorial. I'm not instructing just showing, but I've found the best way to learn something is by watching somebody...so...watch and learn.

It's about 20 minutes so be patient. I had to draw for 3 hours straight.

so you say layers, layers, layers... I suck at color pencils but I always tried to get all the colors right from the beginning... I should try what you just showed in the vid.
and one other thing. I was watching and suddenly I almost fell down from my chair... cause I saw gigantic picture of my face... hehehe omg you are such an amazing artist

:D

Thank you for taking the time to show us!

wow, time for me to get some decent pencils, methinks. You could never get that much layering with the ones I have - the colour just doesn't want to stick on top of others.

thanks for sharing.

I'm no artist, I just draw.

You are the first artist I've ever met (professional) who works from light to dark. I think I like this meathod.

This is the best kind of person to talk to: someone who is willing to take an honest look at the evidence. Being willing is essential. Evidence cannot convince the unwilling.
